An eSIM only works if your phone has eSIM hardware and is not carrier-locked. Two phones with the same model name can differ — some regional variants ship without eSIM — so check your exact model number, not just the marketing name. The checker above uses the manufacturer and model you select; on the device itself you can also dial *#06# and look for an EID number, or open Settings and search for “eSIM” or “Add eSIM”.
As a rough guide, eSIM is supported on iPhone XR, XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and many Samsung Galaxy S20, Note 20, Z Fold and Z Flip models and newer. Availability still varies by sales region and carrier, so confirm your specific unit before ordering.
Device registration status is a separate question from eSIM support. An imported or Non-PTA phone can still install a travel eSIM if the hardware supports it — see our guide to eSIMs on Non-PTA phones. If your device is not in the list or you are unsure, message support on WhatsApp and we will check it with you.

A specific unit can still lack eSIM if it was sold as a region-specific variant or is carrier-locked, so confirm your exact model with the checker above or on the device (Settings → search “eSIM”, or dial *#06# and look for an EID). Registration status — PTA or non-PTA — does not affect eSIM support.
